Policy:

Our massage therapy services aim to provide relaxation, stress relief, and overall well-being to our clients. We are committed to maintaining a safe, comfortable, and respectful environment for both clients and therapists. The following policy outlines the guidelines and procedures for our massage therapy sessions.

Procedure:

   •    Informed Consent:

   •    Clients must provide verbal consent before the massage session begins.

   •    Privacy and Confidentiality:

   •    Client information, including health history, will be kept confidential and stored securely.

   •    Therapists will only discuss client information with the client and any necessary medical professionals, with the client's consent

   •    Therapist Qualifications:

   •    Our massage therapists are licensed and certified professionals with appropriate training and credentials.

   •    Professional Boundaries and Ethical Conduct

As a licensed massage therapist, I uphold the highest standards of professional ethics and conduct. I maintain clear, appropriate, and legal boundaries at all times. Any form of sexual interaction or romantic relationship with clients is strictly prohibited. This includes but is not limited to dating, suggestive behavior, or sexual activity of any kind, during or outside of professional sessions.

    This policy aligns with Florida state laws and the Code of Ethics established by professional massage therapy organizations. Violations of this boundary compromise the integrity of the therapeutic relationship and will result in immediate termination of services and may be reported to the relevant licensing board.

   •    Hygiene and Sanitation:

   •    Therapists follow strict hygiene and sanitation protocols, including washing hands before and after each session.

   •    Massage tables, linens, and equipment are sanitized between each client.

   •    Due to the close proximity involved in massage therapy, clients are asked to arrive clean for their scheduled appointments.

   •    Attire and Comfort:

   •    Clients will be provided with a private space to undress to their comfort level before the session.

   •    They will be draped with clean linens during the massage to ensure privacy and comfort.

   •    Clients with be covered the whole time during the session,the only time that client is uncovered is the area that is being worked on.

   •    Communication During the Session:

   •    Clients are encouraged to communicate their preferences, comfort level, and any discomfort during the session.

   •    Therapists will adjust pressure and techniques based on client feedback.

   •    Session Length and Payment:

   •    Massage sessions are available in various time durations, and clients will be charged accordingly.

   •    Payment is due at the end of the session and can be made in cash, credit, or other accepted forms.

   •    Post-Session Recommendations:

   •    After the session, therapists may offer recommendations for self-care, stretches, or exercises to enhance the benefits of the massage.

   •    Cancellation Policy:

   •    Clients must provide 24 hours' notice for appointment cancellations to avoid a cancellation fee of half the service price.

   •    Late arrivals may result in a shorter session to accommodate the next client's appointment.

   •    Feedback and Concerns:

   •    Clients are encouraged to provide feedback and voice any concerns regarding their massage experience.

   •    Feedback is used to improve our services and maintain client satisfaction.

   •    This policy and procedure document is designed to ensure a positive, safe, and effective massage therapy experience for our clients. Clients are encouraged to read and understand this document before scheduling a session.
